Jagran Correspondent, Amritsar: These days hackers have become very active. Now the hacker blew a total of 4.86 lakh rupees from the bank account of Gurpreet Singh of Chheharta. After investigation, the Chheharta police have registered a case against Aarti Sisodia, a resident of Railway Link Road located in Sanawad district of Madhya Pradesh. Inspector Sukhbir Singh told that he is investigating the matter. Records in this regard are also being sought from the bank.
Gurpreet Singh, a resident of Bhalla Colony in Chheharta, told that he does the business of clothes. He was in his office on the afternoon of 23 July. Meanwhile, a call came on his mobile from an unknown number. The young man told them that he was speaking to Bajaj Finance Company. He was asked to download an application on his mobile. From this they will get to know about many banks. After this the accused sent a link on his mobile. As soon as he clicked the link, a total of Rs 4.86 lakh was transferred from his account to the account of a woman named Aarti at different times. He immediately went to his bank and gave information and got the account frozen. 75 thousand rupees withdrawn from another person’s account
Three days ago, the hacker transferred 75 thousand rupees from the bank account of Gurjit Singh of Sultanvid Road to another account. On receiving the complaint, the police of Thana B Division has registered a case against the unknown accused. Gurjeet told that at 6 pm on October 24, the unknown accused transferred the amount online to his account.
