This month is the best
According to Skanda Purana, Brahma Ji has described Vaishakh month as the best among all the months. Just like there is no other era like the Satyuga, no scripture like the Vedas, no pilgrimage like the Ganges, there is no month like the month of Vaishakh. This month, like Mother, is always going to provide the desired thing to all the living beings. The religion worshiped by the entire deity is the essence of yajna, action and penance. Such as Vedic learning, Pranava in mantras, Kalpavriksha in trees, Kamadhenu in dhenas, Vishnu in deities, Brahman in varnas, Pran in beloved objects, Ganga in rivers, Sun in tejas, Chakra in astra-sastras, Suvarna in metals, Vaishnavas There is Kaustubhamani in Shiva and Gems, similarly the Vaishakh month is the best in the past months in the means of religion. To get the grace of Lord Vishnu, one should bathe before sunrise in this month. In the month of Vaishakh, all the gods and goddesses reside in the water for the welfare of Lord Vishnu.
Donating water is beneficial
As such, it is very fruitful to consecrate water to Lord Bholenath at any time. But in the holy month of Vaishakh, offering water to the Shiva lingam or tying up the galantika (hanging a matki filled with water) is said to be a special virtue. According to the scriptures, in this month, putting onions, protecting shady trees, arranging culls for animals and birds, watering passers-by, such acts as human beings take the life of man on the path of prosperity. According to Skanda Purana, the donation of water is of utmost importance in this month, that is, the fruit that comes from performing many pilgrimages is obtained only by donating water in the month of Vaishakh. Apart from this, donating umbrellas to the shadow seekers and fan fans to those who wish for a fan, gets the blessings of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, the three Gods. The one who donates Paduka in the Vishnupriya Vaishakh goes to Vishnuloka by despising the Yamdoots. At the beginning of Vaishakh month, the atmosphere of tapish becomes ready, so from the religious point of view, in this particular month, the deity of Varuna is of special importance.
