3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time — Kudasai

During your panel at the event Comic [email protected] 2021, Amazon shared a new trailer for the movie premiere Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time in the global catalog of the platform Amazon Prime Video. The preview of about two minutes shows the opening of the feature film.

The latest film was released in Japanese theaters on March 8 and became the most successful film in both Neon Genesis Evangelion like Hideaki Anno. To date it has not been released outside of Japan, and on June 11 it was released Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time. The new version contains “minor revisions” to some animation sequences, but does not change the story of the film.

Both this latest film and the three previous films in the film project, which include Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance Y Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, will be added to the global catalog of the platform Amazon Prime Video next August 13. The platform only explicitly confirmed the dubbing of the fourth film.

In 2015, the world is on the brink of destruction. The last hope of humanity resides in the hands of NERV, a special agency under the command of the United Nations, and its Evangelions, giant robots capable of defeating the Angels who announce the ruin of the Earth. Aiding in this defensive effort are talented strategist Misato Katsuragi, head of Tactical Operations, and Ritsuko Akagi, chief scientist. Face to face with his father for the first time in years, the life of the 14-year-old boy, Shinji Ikari, has to change irreversibly when he is brought to the NERV facilities and discovers his heartbreaking destiny: he must become the pilot of the Evangelion Unit. -01 with the fate of humanity in his hands.
