Greater Noida. The Bid Document (Bid Document) and Draft Concession (Draft Concession) of the proposed Film City in Yamuna Authority have been prepared. The authority has sent them to the government for approval. After getting approval from the government, global tenders will be floated for the selection of the developer. Officials say that the developer is expected to be selected by January. Film City will be developed on 1000 acres of land in Sector-21 of Yamuna Authority. Of this, film related facilities will be developed on 75 percent of the land.
Film institutes will be developed in 5 percent area, amusement park in 15 percent and hotels, restaurants, villas and commercial offices in the rest area. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) of Film City has been prepared. The Authority has prepared the Bid Document and Concession Agreement from the DPR preparation company CBRE itself. The CEO of the authority, Dr. Arunveer Singh said that after the study, both the documents have been sent to the government. A committee constituted at the government level will study it. After getting approval from there, global tender will be called. The developer company will be selected within two months of this. The selection of the company is fully expected by January. The film city will be developed on PPP model.
